Day Tour Hluhluwe Umfolozi and Cat Rehab Tour 18/12/11 - Tim Brown Tours

This was one of the most tiring and long tours I have ever done and purely because of the original pick up of teh clients being in Richards Bay at 8am! So this meant I had to drive 2,5 hours just to the pick up point for the Tour.

Once I had the clients on board from the Oceana ship and we got out of Richards Bay the day was a breaze. Very hot and humid but some great sightings sadly missing the Cats but this will filled up by the Cat rehab Tour and Feeding session at Emdoneni at 16:30.

If you look at the pictures above you will see that we even got a Rhino sitting like a dog!(very funny)

The nearest we were to a Leopard was this Leopard Tortoise which run under the vehicle to get some shade. This meant I had to climb under the open vehicle I had hired to take the clients in and grab hold of her. Of course she didnt find it amusing and she released a foul secreation from her Bursa sac…

Anyhow we survived and got to the Cat Rehab centre for the interaction with Moya and Juba well on time!

Drop off in Richards Bay and picking up the guests the next day of the Oceana in Durban meant little rest of me with washing the vehicle, getting home, filling fuel etc.
