Durban City Tour 4 Jan 2014 - Tim Brown Tours

Turned out to be a great day in the City.

Started out with the Botanical Gardens

From there moved to The Cube for a view of the city, Florida RD, Golden Mile….

We decided to stop at the Mosses Mabida Stadium for a view of the city not to be missed from the Stadiums room!

Covered the Golden Mile and reached Wilsons Warf were we looked at the Statue of Dick King who in 1842 (or there abouts) Road on Horse back 960 km to Grahamstown to get reinforcements after the British were being attacked by the Voortrekkers. He covered the distance in a mere 10 days, crossing 120 rivers in the process!

After that we popped into the BAT center which wasnt that great so we left after 15 minutes and headed back to the ship.
