What a great tour with a couple from the States down for COP 17.
We took a nice easy drive up to the Cat rehab centre where they interacted with the cheetah and learned more about the situations that have caused the decline in there population.
After we entered the park Hluhluwe Umfolozi where we got lucky in the hot 31 degree weather with Rhinos, Warthogs with Piglets on the road and Impala and Zebra together.
Later that day the clients went out on the Open Vehicle with not to mch success until the told me they saw a Crocodile eating a fish and some Franklin trying to get a peck in near the crocs mouth! wow!
Next morning we went out and descided to change things up at the Clients request and go to Isimangeliso wetland park for the boat cruise.
That was great with good sightings along the way.
Yaniri one of the guests loved buying gifts and spent almost R4000 over the 3 days on african carvings, clothes and ostrich eggs!
On the drive back into the park we noticed that the Zebra and buffalo where on edge and some had shot across the road infront of us. We drove up the raod a few metres and there was a young make Leopard sitting under a tree in the shade behind a watering hole. What an awesome sighting!
So on our Trip we saw 4 of ther Big 5 only missing the Lions!
Was really cool.
