St Lucia Safari Tour 18 October 2012 - Tim Brown Tours

A great day with some weird weather. After collecting my clients from Durban we headed off to St Lucia where we decided to do the board walk to the Estuary mouth which was great. There were crocodile lying out on the beach and a couple of Hippos. Once we got onto the beach itself we saw the above funny sign which depicts the dangers of this beach but most importantly the second largest vegetated sand due in the world(Mapelane).

As we walked onto the beach we also noted Buffalo tracks which was a little unnerving to the clients in particular.

After the walk we went to the Crocodile center were we were fortunate enough to witness crocodiles mating, and of course the lovely Cycad garden.

From there I left the client in the very capable hands of Themba the guide on the boat and the clients enjoyed viewing of Hippo and crocodile and many Bird species.

We then departed for lunch on route to the airport King Shaka International.

A great Tour.
