Full Day Itinerary
7:00 AM – Pick-up in Durban
You will be collected from your accommodation in Durban. Pick-up and drop-off apply to Durban city locations. If you are unsure whether your area is covered, please contact us.
7:45 AM – Tala Game Reserve
After leaving Durban, it is about a 45-minute drive to Tala Game Reserve. On arrival, your guide will conduct a game drive of around 3 hours in a closed, air-conditioned vehicle.
This gives you the chance to enjoy Tala’s wildlife in comfort while learning more about the animals and the reserve.
11:45 AM – Phezulu Reptile Park and Lunch
After Tala, the tour continues through the Valley of 1000 Hills to Phezulu. Here you will stop for lunch at the Boma restaurant, with beautiful views across the valley. Lunch is for your own account.
You will then visit the reptile park, where you can learn more about crocodiles, snakes and other reptiles found in Southern Africa.
2:00 PM – Phezulu Zulu Cultural Village
After the reptile park, you continue to the Zulu Cultural Village. Here you can enjoy traditional Zulu dancing, learn more about Zulu customs and heritage, and explore the traditional homestead setting.
There is also time to browse the local craft shops.
3:00 PM – Depart for Durban
After the cultural experience, it is time to begin the journey back to Durban.
4:00 PM – Arrive back in Durban
