Tala and Phezulu Safari Tour 28 June 2013

Tala and Phezulu Safari Tour 28 June 2013

We Began in Durban where I collected my client which had found me through a referral from a Tour I had done a previous week and TripAdvisor.

We began our 45 min short trip up to the Tala Game reserve where we had plenty of rain the night before. (Roads were slippy)

Upon entering I was surprised to see that the Rhino were not hanging around there usual place and there were no fresh tracks of them moving off into the thickets. – Were they poached???

Anyhow we spotted some great animals: Giraffe, Zebra, Impala, Nyala, Wildebeest, Blesbok, Kudu, Warthog, Hippos out the waters and even Ostriches.

After all of these great sights we attempted one last hour to find the Rhino but alas they had hidden themselves in the thickets with the cold weather.

We departed and headed to Phezulu(on the Hill) in the valley of 1000 Hills. We started with a Boma lunch with a view and then went for the crocodile Park Tour. We had a great young fellow who’s name escapes me but he was very patient and took his time in making sure my clients  had all there questions answered I am very great full for this. You did a great Job mate!

Then we went down to the Zulu huts to learn a little more about the Zulus aswell as watch the Zulu Dancing. After this we went back to the Snake park to finish that off and I was glad to see our guide for that waiting for us. A testament to him – Thank you again.

A great tour was ended at King Shaka International Airport where I dropped my clients off.
