I met my client early in the morning in Umhlanga near Durban city. They are out in South Africa for business and decided a Tour of two would be on the cards…
We departed and I covered the history as per usual and drove the 2,5 hours to Isimangeliso Wetland park or St Lucia estuary.
We first went to the crocodile centre where a gave them some information in these amazing creatures and had a look around the shop.
We then ventured down to the Board walk and saw some great bird life including a Saddle billed stork! That was great. The indian ocean was so close so we walked down to the beach to touch the water of the Indian ocean which is a warm ocean.
From there we headed back through the Town(one street) and made our way to the boat for a private cruise on lake st lucia(estuary). This was great and we saw loads of Hippos and a couple of crocodiles.
After 2 hours of relax on the boat it was time for some shopping and then lunch in the town.
We departed for Durban around 3pm from St Lucia estuary to bring to an end a great day in Africa.
