2 Day Safari Tours from Durban back to back with my clients.
We began in Durban as usual where I met my clients and we departed for Tala game reserve. We were lucky with the weather and the game drive was great as we saw everything. Rhinos so close we could touch them, Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest and even a mongoose.
This Brown chested snake eagle was also a nice find.
Later we went through the valley of 1000 hills to Phezulu for lunch to visit the crocodile park and later the Zulu Dancing. David was very keen on the Traditional Zulu beer which was great to see.
After a nice day out we headed back to Durban before the following days tour to St Lucia estuary(Isimangeliso wetland park) – South Africas first world heritage site.
Day 2: Durban Safari Day Tours
We departed Durban and arrived in St Lucia – Isimangeliso Wetland park at 09:30 for the 10am boat cruise. We had a great 2 hours viewing hippos and crocodiles before we decided to do the board walk onto the beach and look at Mapelane the second highest vegetated sand dune in the world.
From here it was time for some relaxing lunch and a long drive back to Durban.
