Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game reserve Day Safari Tour 12.10.13

Hluhluwe Umfolozi game reserve – Durban Day Safari Tour 12 October 2013

After collecting my clients from Durban Point Water Front which by the way is looking very nice. We started heading up to Hluhluwe Umfolozi game reserve. Along the way I covered the History of the area, the different population groups and how they came to be in this area of South Africa and Kwa-Zulu Natal.

Upon arrive we entered and has some good luck for the time of the day. Seeing Rhino, Giraffe, Zebra, Buffalo, Warthog and Nyala.

After a few hours of searching we stopped for lunch at Hilltop camp.

We then departed  Hilltop camp again in search this time of Elephants. It turned out to be one of those days where I traveled very far to find them but eventually did to the relief of myself more than anything. However my clients were laid back but did want to see Elephant so it was good for us all to find them.

We left the game reserve later than usual but it was worth it. 3 hours later we arrived back in Durban long after the African Sun had set in the West. It was a great Durban day Safari Tour under the African Sun.
