Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve – Durban Day Safari Tour 21 November 2013

A great day in the African Bush. A fantasti Durban Day Safari Tour to Hluhluwe umfolozi game reserve with Tim Brown Tours

After collecting my clients for Durban we did the usual History of Durban and Kwazulu Natal talk and arrived at the game reserve.

It was a drizzling day and later became very rainy but we did very well. This cooler weather is always helpful in finding Cats and we did.

We had luck right at the start with 3 bull Elephants near the road, White Rhino, Buffalo, Zebra and giraffe.

After an hour and a half we had found our Lions resting near a pan and lucky for us as after 2 minutes the one lioness got up and walked behind a bush.

We continued and saw Baboons aswell and new born impalas and warthogs.

We went to the centenary center for lunch before finding a huge herd to Buffalo. Then we kept pushing to get the memorial gate before it got to late. We still saw more Rhino, Buffalo, giraffe etc.

It was a great Durban Day tour!
