I took a group of 7 clients from the Methodist conference in Durban up to Sani Pass, Unfortunately because of the amounts of Snow (yes in South Africa) we could only make it to within 2 km of the Lesotho Border post.
So techically we left South Africa and returned without getting into Lesotho.
It was to dangerous to walk any further but I did have a die hard guest who insisted on going further against the better advice of myself and our Sani Pass Guide! Needless to say he didn’t get to much further when he realised that he was taking it one step to far and he returned to the group.
In the pictures a Basotho Shepard herds his sheep up the steep slopes on the mountain face.
